The Spaarne Ziekenhuis is an authoritative regional hospital with over 1.880 employees with its main offices located in Hoofddorp and Heemstede. On a yearly basis 17.000 patients are hospitalized, 11.000 day treatments take place and over 300.000 policlinic visits are made.
The Spaarne Ziekenhuis had to merge two hospitals into one new location. Ab Ovo advised on the preparatory steps, which could already be taken during the time that the two existing hospitals were still in operation. Besides this Ab Ovo carried out a research of the planning processes of the OR’s in Haarlem and Heemstede.
