Dutch Ministry (VROM)
The four thousand employees of the Dutch Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and Environment (VROM) work to find creative and sustainable solutions for improving the living environment of the Netherlands. The Ministry operates in three major areas. These are: living space, housing and environment. An additional task is to plan, to conduct and to supervise the building of projects in government housing.
For the department International Environmental Affairs of the Directorate-General for Environmental Protection we were responsible for the implementation of a LinkWorks based Document Management System. Beside the technical definition and implementation, we enabled the interfacing of the different platforms used and performed intensive training and user support. All functional support and systems management tasks, including the service desk are part of the project. Besides this we are responsible for the support and maintenance of several additional Linkworks applications. This includes 1st and 2nd line support, corrective maintenance, adaptive and functional management and pro-actively responding to changes.
