Connexxion

Connexxion is one of the biggest Dutch service providers in public transport. On a daily basis more than 1 million people travel with a Connexxion bus, tram, train, taxi, touring car or boat. More than 13.000 people work for Connexxion.

Ab Ovo held the interim position of CIO within Connexxion for a period of 12 months. When the old VSN-company was split into Connexxion, Arriva, BBA and Hermes, the Connexxion part (consisting of NZH, Midnet, ZWN and Oostnet) had to be merged into one company. Our key assignment was to create one set of key processes, supported by one set of systems and managed by one ICT department.
