B-Cargo
B-Cargo is the division within SNCB that is responsible for commercializing rail freight transport. Since 1 January 2005, the SNCB has been divided into three distinct public limited companies in order to comply with the European legislation on the liberalization of rail transport. All three companies (SNCB Holding, Infrabel and SNCB) have the status of an autonomous company.
After a tender procedure B-Cargo selected us to develop a prototype of our Rail Cargo System and to evaluate the current business processes. The Rail Cargo System is the first application that supports the whole transport process from terminal to terminal including local service traffic, contracts, orders and financial settlement. The system is built using our in house MDA development tool TET.
