Achmea Zorg
Achmea is one of the biggest financial service providers in the Benelux. In total about 22.000 people are working for Achmea. Achmea offers companies, institutions and consumers a wide package of insurances and financial products and services. Beside this Achmea provides other services such as Arbo related services, assistance within the Netherlands and outside the Netherlands and services that promote a healthy life style.
As from 2001 Ab Ovo has been involved in the FOCUS project of Achmea Zorg, one of the largest business units within Achmea. Achmea Zorg operates under different brand names amongst them are Zilveren Kruis Achmea, Groene Land Achmea and PWZ Achmea. Within these operating companies different systems for policy management, claim settlement, debtors and creditors management, money transfers, registers, et cetera were in use. The FOCUS project consisted of separating the financial subsystems and combine these in a new financial system. Please download the pdf-file below for more information about this project.
