RCS is the first integrated rail cargo application that supports the whole transport process from terminal to terminal including local service traffic, contracts, orders, production planning, execution and financial settlement. The system is built using Model Driven Architecture development tooling which enables the modelling of very complex applications and generates these for common computer languages and hardware platforms. RCS is used by DB Schenker Rail Netherlands; B-Cargo is currently in the process of implementing RCS.
